Sandro Ðukić

is a multimedia artist who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, in the class of Prof. Duro Seder. He studied at the Kunstakademie Dusseldorf as visiting and full-time student in the class of Nam June Paik. At the same institution he attended Prof. Nan Hoover's masterclass. He has exhibited at numerous solo and group exhibitions in Croatia, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Iceland, Slovenia, Serbia, Czech Republic, United States and elsewhere. As a lecturer, he participated in several local and international symposia. He has received many awards, and his artworks are held in public and private collections. He is a member of HZSU (Croatian Association of Independent Artists) and HULU-Split (Croatian Association of Visual Artists), and a member of the Board of Nan Hoover Foundation.

game over - wish to reconsider reality (2024)

The installation entitled GAME OVER - Wish to Reconsider Reality features work by multimedia artist Sandro Đukić created in the span of six years. Its title already indicates Dukić's longstanding artistic preoccupation - questions of ideological frame which shapes our realities, considerations of the passage of time and events causality, perception of our past experiences and of the present in which we are living.
